POSTCARDS FROM HOME

 

Postcards with an image of the sea in Havana Bay were mailed by the artist's family and friends in the island to her address in Los Angeles. The ones that made it were stacked and exhibited. The piece was part of 'Between Two Worlds', curated by Bia Gayotto. The exhibition explored "the ways national and cultural identities have been constructed, invoked, imagined, critiqued and satirized in the artists' visual works. "
